Mosley’s Training Camp Going Smoothly

Sugar Shane Mosley – Reigning WBA Welterweight champion Sugar Shane Mosley is having one smooth training camp in preparation for his May 1 mega-fight against unbeaten Floyd “Money” Mayweather, Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Training camp for Mosley and his team has been going on full blast for a month now ever since Shane got back from the three-city press tour which culminated in Los Angeles last March 4. Sugar Shane’s team consists of head trainer Naazim Richardson, fitness trainer Gustavo Satragni, close friend Hassan Abdulrahim, Jr. and son Shane Jr. along with some sparring partners.

Big Bear in California, where Mosley has trained for the last decade and a half, is bustling with the activities of training for a major fight. Yet, there is also the quiet confidence and fluidity inherent in an experienced camp. Mosley (46W-5L, 39 KO’s) is brimming with confidence that he will be the one to deal the flamboyant Mayweather (40W-0L, 25 KO’s) his first career defeat.
